Field Trips
Our field trips are focused on local community activities and many surrounding educational centers. Lori Brock, Insect Lore, Valley Oaks Charter School, The California Living Museum (CALM Zoo), Murray Family Farms, Santa Barbara Museum & Aquarium, Museum of Tolerance, Ronald Reagan Museum, LA Science Museum, The Getty Center, La Brea Tar Pits, Griffith Observatory, Fresno Zoo, LA Zoo, Zoppeland Day Camp… Every year is different to keep things fresh.
One of our favorite field trips is a day camp in Lockwood Valley, California (Frazier Park) called Zoppeland. Students have a great time learning many different outdoor activities and skills. This past year, students learned safe horse riding, tree planting, carpentry, archery, and -an exhilarating activity- dirt skiing.
Chapel
Our focus and purpose in Chapel is founded in glorifying God and learning about His word. Chapel is a great experience for students to sing interactive songs and learn applicable principles of daily living demonstrated in the Bible.
